Harley tires are the tires manufactured by Harley-Davidson Company. Each type of tires has some features which make it to perform the work that the manufacturer expect it to do.

D401 Harley Tires

D401 tires have their own unique features. These features make them to deliver the work expected of them.

Features of D401 Harley Tires

1. They have an advance tread pattern. These make them to deliver outstanding grip in wet or dry weather.

2. Specifically formulated compound.

3. They have a computer-optimized tread.

4. D401 tires are co-branded with the Harley-Davidson name and logo on the sidewall.

D401 tires are the only tires approved by Harley-Davidson for their cruiser models. They are available in 90/90-19 and 100/90-19front sizes and 130/90b16 rear sizes.

D402 Harley Tires

D402 tires also have their on features.

These features make them to be approved as Harley-Davidson touring tires.

Features of D402 Harley Tires

1.They are built with three-ply polyester casing with two fibreglasses This help D402 to offers great load-carrying capacity and stability.

2. They have computer-optimized tread profile with offset centre groove. This feature of D402 makes rider more confidence over rain grooves and steel-grated bridges.

3. These tires are also co-branded with the Harley-Davidson name and logo on the sidewall.

D402 are available in front and rear back, single-white-bar and wide-white sidewall. They all rated as H speed .

Racing Tires

K591 tires are the approved Harley-Davidson sport tires. They are originally designed for racing, but they have been refined to meet the demands of sport and sport-touring riders.

Features of K591 Harley Tires

1.Like the other Harley tires series, they have an advance tread pattern and specifically formulated compound. This make them to deliver optimum grip in wet and dry weather for confident cornering.

2. They are also having Harley Davidson name and logo on the sidewall.

3. They are rated as v speed . This can be seen on them.

K591 tires are available in 100/90-19 front and three different 16 and 17 inches rear tires. They all have black sidewalls.

Precaution

There are some precautions to be followed by Harley tire users. By following those precautions, safety is guaranteed.

All the Harley-Davidson tires users must note that after they have fitted new tire, they should not subject it to the following:

1 Sudden acceleration,

2 Hard cornering and

3 Maximum powers or braking for at least 100miles.

Failure to do so may result in loss of control and serious injury.
