The Cadillac sts is produced by General Motors as the successor to the Cadillac Seville. This vehicle is a full sized luxury vehicle that was first introduced in 2005. It is a four door sedan and comes with many options with regards to engine size. This vehicle has been compared to some models of the BMW as well as other cars such as the Lexus and Mercedes Benz. .

The Cadillac sts is one of the highest priced sedans offered by Cadillac and was introduced as the upgrade to the Seville. Although the Seville used the term STS in the past this term has been associated with the 2005 Cadillac sts model. This model brought to the table the introduction of the rear wheel drive Sigma platform and this is a first for a Cadillac sedan. .

The Cadillac sts is constructed at the General Motors facility in Lansing, Michigan. The engines it can be sourced with include the 3.6L and the 4.6L engines. In 2005 there was the introduction of the 2006 Cadillac sts V model. This has a supercharged 4.4L version and has a lot more handling upgrades. The acceleration in this vehicle is very good as the sedan can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 5.1 seconds. There are also other features such as bigger wheels and better brakes. This model also includes faster steering and a stiffer suspension when compared to the standard sts. This version is also more expensive and has been priced at just below $80,000 US. .

It has been reported that there are many upgrades for the newer models of the Cadillac sts. There is the speculation that there will be a new grille design as well as a change in the tail lights.
